Little Shop of Stories initiated and operates On The Same Page, a community-wide book read for families each year since 2011. This program is currently run through the Decatur Book Festival, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
On The Same Page is a comprehensive community reading program serving families and schools around the Atlanta area. Our goal is to foster a community of readers by bringing people together around the same book.
On The Same Page has involved book groups, school and community outreach, writing workshops, book parties, movie screenings, theater productions and volunteer work. The program culminates by a visit from the book’s author who visits several local schools and presents at one large community event.
Due to COVID-19, there was no programming in 2020 and 2021.
