GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • Where are you located?
    • Our store is located in downtown Decatur, steps from the old Decatur Courthouse, just off the intersection of E. Ponce de Leon Ave and Clairemont Ave. 
  • Where do I park?
    • There is ample streetside parking all over downtown Decatur, as well as a paid parking deck at the corner of Trinity Ave & Commerce Ave. For parking on the surface streets, we recommend downloading the ParkMobile app before you visit.
  • How do I contact you?
  • What else do I need to know before I come to Decatur?
    • We are part of a lovely, bustling downtown area known for its restaurants, boutiques, and festivals. Come see us! There is always something going on, and somewhere wonderful to explore. We are happy to recommend our favorite lunch spots, ice cream parlors, boba tea houses, etc.!
  • Do you only sell children's books?
    • No! In addition to our wonderful and diverse selection of books for kids, from board books through Young Adult, we also carry a curated selection of adult fiction and non-fiction, as well as games, puzzles, toys, and more! We are also always happy to special order something for you, even if it's not a book we normally carry. 
  • I wrote a book! How do I get it on your shelves?

  • If I find a book on your site, does that mean it's currently in stock at your store?
    • Not necessarily. If your order is time sensitive, please call us to confirm availability.
  • I received a confirmation e-mail. Does this mean that my order is ready to be picked up or has been shipped?
    • No. This just means that we've received your order. You will be contacted when your order has shipped or is ready to be picked up.
  • When will I get my book(s)?
    • For in stock orders we strive to ship them within 3 business days, and delivery time depends on the method of shipping selected. For orders with out of stock items, the timing will depend on availability from publishers and distributors, as well as any current supply chain issues. We always work to fill orders as quickly as possible, and to keep our customers apprised if there will be any significant delays.
  • What if I need to return something?
    • Please review our return policies and contact us with any further questions.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    • We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) and if you're picking up in store, you may pay in cash.
  • How can I check the status of my order?
    • Log in, select 'My Account' and Orders'. A list of all your orders and their current status is provided.
  • I have a gift card! How do I use it online?
    • We are happy to accept your gift card in our online store! Just include the 16-digit card number (found on the back of the card) when prompted in our shopping cart checkout, and we will process your payment from your gift card before taking any funds from a credit card (this does require you to put your credit card information in the system, but we do not charge your card unless the balance exceeds the amount of the gift card).
