Come meet some outstanding kid authors at Little Shop!

Books and kids go together like ice cream and cake, like peanut butter and jelly, like movin' and groovin'! Which is why it makes so much sense for us to host an author signing for some phenomenal kid authors! Stop by on Saturday, April 6th any time between 1PM-3PM to say hello, grab some books, and support some truly inspiring kiddos! Registration is encouraged, but not required -- please register here and let us know you plan to come!

Olivia James - Fatima the Activist!
At Palm Valley Elementary School, the female students are being discriminated against by the other male students. A young girl named Fatima has had enough of this mistreatment, and decides she wants to do something about it. Fatima gathers all of the girl students to host a protest. The girls work together to demand equality. Fatima The Activist is the blueprint for teaching our young children about equality and effective ways to achieve it.

Addison Gordon - Dinner Table Distractions
Addie Soundland is eleven years old and lives with her mom, dad, and sister. At dinner, Addie enjoys cooking pizza with her mom. The dinner table is where Addie gets to spend time with her family; it's so important.

She loves spending time with her family, but now that her parents have new jobs and her sister goes to school, they are all busy. She comes up with a super secret plan to get her family to spend more time together. Will her plan work, or will they never make their famous family pizza again?

Matthew Miller - A Week with Papa
Jackson loves and looks up to his grandfather, Papa, and he was worried about Paper had life-changing surgery and had to recover from it. Jackson visits Papa in the hospital and then he travels to Augusta, Georgia to visit him for a week. They do different activities together, like watching TV and eating dinner, and the trip means so much more to Jackson than he could ever realize. Jackson gets the chance to learn about his family history, connect with the older generation of his family, and appreciate the time he has with his loved ones. After he leaves Papa's house, Jackson thinks about how his week with Papa is more than a trip but a lifelong memory he will cherish forever.
