for Grownups
Welcome to the Meet in the Middle Book Club, a middle-grade fiction book club for the adults who love kid lit. If growing up has never seemed fun to you, you’re in the right spot. Once a month we’ll read and explore some of the best middle-grade (8 to 12-year-old protagonists usually) books out there. Reach out to careyfblankenship@gmail.com if you’d like to learn more and if you know big things come in small packages.
We’re meeting next on Saturday, June 17th at 6:30pm to discuss Camp Quiltbag by Nicole Melleby.
From the acclaimed authors of Hurricane Season and Ana on the Edge, an unforgettable story about the importance of and joy in finding a community, for fans of Alex Gino and Ashley Herring-Blake.
Twelve-year-old Abigail (she/her/hers) is so excited to spend her summer at Camp QUILTBAG, an inclusive retreat for queer and trans kids.
